How to Plan a Wine Themed Wedding

For some, wine is far more than a beverage, wine is a way of life. If you are one of them, here are some suggestions for how to plan a wien themed wedding.

1. Set a budget. No matter what your wedding theme is you need to know how much money you'll have to spend.
   
2. Choose and reserve locations for both the ceremony and the reception - a vineyard perhaps if there is one nearby or you are willing to plan a destination wedding. Choose the officiant and your wedding party and make sure that everyone is aware of the theme of your wedding.
3. Choose the invitations for your wine themed wedding; look for invitations that are appropriate, a wine bottle, wine glasses or even stationary that is designed to look like the label of your favorite wine.
   
4. Choose dresses for your attendants that fit your theme - but be careful to not go overboard; the same for accessories for the groomsmen's tuxedos. Choose flowers that will blend with the theme as well.
5. Order a cake that can fit your wedding's wine theme; one way of doing this is to consider the wines and foods that will be served at your wedding reception and to ask what cake flavors might freshen the palate.
   
6. Choose decorations for the ceremony and the reception that will fit your wine theme - if you are holding your wedding and reception at a vineyard, there will be little that you need to do in order to decorate.

• Plan to include all of the things that you love about the wine theme in your wedding - from cards and decorations to colors and flowers that you associate with it.
