  1. Step 1

    Make lodging reservations if you plan on spending more than just one day on your ski vacation. Sundance Resort offers a variety of accommodations from small suites to vacation homes. Call (800) 892-1600 or email resop@sundance-utah.com for accommodation information.

  2. Step 2

    Take a cross-country ski lesson from the experts at Sundance. Private and semi-private lessons are available any time. Group lessons are also available and run from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. daily. All courses are taught right at the resort. Call (801) 223-4170 for more information on cross-country ski courses offered at Sundance.

  3. Step 3

    Rent equipment from the resort. Several packages are available. Prices vary depending on the time of your rental. If you are just planning on skiing in the afternoon, rentals are discounted after 2:00 p.m. You are also welcome to use your own equipment.

  4. Step 4

    Visit Sundance's cross-country ski center. The center has up-to-date information on skiing conditions. It is a great place to learn about the great skiing opportunities available in the Rocky Mountains. The cross-country ski center also has access to information on seasonal special events and some of the little-known aspects of Sundance.   5. Step 5

    Study the trail maps before you embark on your ski adventure. The maps are downloadable from the Sundance Resort Web site. The trail maps will help you familiarize yourself with the area and with the levels of difficulty of each trail. The trails are color-coded for difficulty level.

  6. Step 6

    Satisfy your appetite at one of the many restaurants at the resort. After a long day of skiing, your stomach is sure to be feeling ravenous. The resort has restaurants for every appetite and budget. Reservations may be advantageous for the higher-end restaurants, especially if you are skiing on a weekend or holiday.
