Exploring fantasies involving BDSM can be fulfilling in a setting a bit more public than the bedroom. Learn how to find and attend a BDSM club by following these steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a BDSM club. The Internet can be helpful in this endeavor. If simple searches don't turn up anything in your area, look for chat rooms or discussion boards that focus on BDSM.

  2. Step 2

Become acquainted with the club or become member. Due to the often secret nature of the meetings in the club, you may need to fulfill some conditions to become a member.

  3. Step 3

Respect the club rules and regulations regarding members of the BDSM club, such as a respect for other members' privacy. Members often wish to keep their club identity secret from nonmembers.

  4. Step 4

Relax and enjoy yourself. You're among people with similar sexual interests.

Tips & Warnings
  • Avoid unprotected sex with unknown partners.
  • Avoid using too much force in BDSM practices. They are mostly symbolic and keep to humiliation rather than actually inducing a large amount of pain to your partner.

on 10/20/2007 I would add a note that says "do not assume that all people in the club are looking for YOU as a partner - whether dominant or submissive. Not all dominants are YOUR dominants and not ALL submissives are submissive to YOU. :)
