How to get to Making Waves Oslo from Oslo S

An explanation of how to best get to Making Waves Oslo office from Oslo Central Railway Station by foot.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

1. Find the meeting point in Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) and face the train displays / the exit to the platforms.
2. Turn left and walk to the entrance at the end of the hall. You walk by an entrance to the Byporten shopping centre on your left. Walk out the door and you will find yourself on a pedestrian bridge.
3. Cross the bridge and walk down the stairs to the right, you are now on front of a hotel called Oslo Plaza, one of Oslo's tallest buildings. Behind you is Postgirobygget, another of Oslo's tallest buildings.
4. Walk along the hotel and cross the square/park to get the big street you see ahead.
5. Cross this street. A few meters down the street on your right is Evita, where you can get an excellent cup of coffee. On your left you will see Cafe Con Bar, which is also quite nice. Ignoring these two distractions, keep walking in the direction you came from. The street you should follow is called Christian Krohgs Gate.
6. Having crossed one more major road called Hausmanns Gate, Christian Krohgs Gate makes a light, leftish turn. When there are no more houses on your right hand side and you can see the river, walk down the parking space towards the river. You are now outside the Making Waves offices.
