How to Attach a Microphone to a Cobra 29 WX ST cb Radio?

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Mount microphone bracket on right side of the main transceiver unit, or try mounting near it using the two
    screws supplied. If mounting inside an automobile, place the bracket under the dashboard, so the microphone is
    readily accessible.

  2. Step 2

    Look for the Microphone connector on the front panel of the main transceiver unit.

  3. Step 3

    Plug in the microphone in the Microphone connector.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the microphone is functional, and has no manufacturing fault.
  • Be sure that the power cord, antenna and microphone are connected to the proper connectors before proceeding further. The PA/CB should be in the CB position.
  • Please be careful with the microphone, as it is a delicate instrument.
  • After you have finished using your Cobra 29 WX ST cb radio, do remember to turn it off! To do this, please rotate the "Power On/Off Volume" control counterclockwise until it switches off.
