In this article you're going to learn how to find free study guides, schedule exams, and become an MCSE all from the comforts of your kitchen table.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A PC or Laptop,
  • Internet Access
  1. Step 1

Set up your PC or Laptop with internet access. Using any of the major search engines, run a query on MCSE study guides. You will get a return of many sites who offer study guides both for sell and for free. Start visiting the sites until you find one that offers MCSE Exam 70-028 or 70-029 for free. Copy or download that study guide to your hard drive.

  2. Step 2

Now you will want to spend 2-3 days reading and memorizing that study guide in preperation for the certification exam, either of the above listed two.

  3. Step 3

After the 2-3 day study period, visit www.vue.com to schedule Microsoft's certification exam. This exam will be taken at one of Vue's center (nearest you), and the cost is approx $150.00. Make sure you have memorized the material because should you fail the exam you will have to spend another $150.00 to retake the exam.

  4. Step 4

Pass the exam and you're an instant MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) ready to enter the rewarding field of computer networking.

Tips & Warnings
  • You may chose to use a voucher which can also be purchased from Vue's website.
  • Avoid all the hype and sale's pitchs for other study material. Use only a FREE study guide as the test will be what you see there, nothing more.
  • Microsoft does require that you pass a min of 6 exams before you can claim to be an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer).
