Back up important files or data using a very simple and inexpensive method. Flash
drives are available in any office supply store or computer store.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer or laptop with a usb port.
  • flash drive
  • files or data to backup
  1. Step 1

    Locate the USB port on your PC or Laptop

  2. Step 2

    Insert flash drive into USB port on your PC or Laptop.

  3. Step 3

    Select the files you want to backup and right click on them and select "Copy".

  4. Step 4

    Open "My Computer" on your PC or Laptop and you should see an icon for your Flash drive. Right click on the icon and select "Paste". You should
    see your files on the flash drive. Congratulations you have just backed up your files or data.
