Step 1
Look for visual symptoms such as loss of vision (in one eye initially), double vision, abnormal eye movements or blurred vision.

Note the motor symptoms such as weak muscles, paralysis, problematic posture, speech-related problems, dysfunctional reflexes, spasticity, tiredness and difficulty in leg movements.

Consider the bowel, sexual and bladder movements. There is frequent urge to pass urine, constipation, failure in sexual activities, impotence or premature ejaculation.

See the sensory system symptoms. These include numbness of body parts and facial pain.

Know the cognitive symptoms. Anxiety, loss of memory, decrease of judgmental ability, reduction in attention span, depression, mood swings are some of the symptoms.

Observe the symptoms affecting coordination and balance of the body. Vertigo, ataxia irregular limb movements, shaking of hands or body and so on are some symptoms.

Find other symptoms such as sleep disorder, loss of hearing, esophagus related problems, Babinski’s reflex, epilepsy and so on.
