How to Make Radiant Text in Adobe Photoshop

Radiant Text can be achieved using any Adobe Photoshop Program. This article is geared to Photoshop 7, so the menu names may differ depending on the version used.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Open Photoshop, and start a new project.

  2. Step 2

    Set the resolution and color settings as desired.

  3. Step 3

    Use the Text Tool, and type in whatever text it is you wish to modify.

  4. Step 4

    Go to the Filter Menu, and choose: Stylize -> Wind
    Use the following settings:
    Method: Wind
    Direction: From the Right

    Apply this filter twice.

  5. Step 5

    Go to the Filter Menu, and choose: Stylize -> Wind
    Use the following settings:
    Method: Wind
    Direction: From the Left

    Apply this filter twice.

  6. Step 6

    Go to the Edit Menu, and choose: Transform -> Rotate 90 CW

  7. Step 7

    Go to the Filter Menu, and choose: Stylize -> Wind
    Use the following settings:
    Method: Wind
    Direction: From the Right

    Apply this filter twice.

  8. Step 8

    Go to the Filter Menu, and choose: Stylize -> Wind
    Use the following settings:
    Method: Wind
    Direction: From the Left

    Apply this filter twice.

  9. Step 9

    Go to the Edit Menu, and choose: Transform -> Rotate 90 CCW
