Look at the special events calendar on the Thanksgiving Point Web site to find out about any special events or activities happening. A sampling of special events offered through Thanksgiving Point are a Mother's Day brunch, baby animal celebration, Christmas tree lighting, garden luncheons, cultural events and much, much more.
Step2
Spend some time in Farm Country. Let your little ones take a pony ride, pet and feed farm animals and take a wagon ride. Take a hands-on approach to learning about farm work by milking a cow, gathering eggs and slopping pigs. Visit the family barn where there is a dinner theater, special concerts and much more. Farm Country is a fun and educational place for families to play and learn together. Little kids are sure to be in hog heaven!
Step3
Visit Thanksgiving Point in the spring and take a stroll through the immaculately-groomed gardens. Covering 55 acres, the gardens are a serene and relaxing place. Benches are placed throughout the gardens, so you can sit and soak up the peacefulness of this beautiful place. The gardens are home to the largest man-made waterfall in the western hemisphere.
Step4
Take a swing on Thanksgiving Point's champion-caliber golf course. The course has received many accolades and awards in the golf industry, and is the most talked about course in all of Utah. This 18-hole course features 55 acres of sand and 10,000 trees. Whether you are a professional or a beginning golfer, this is sure to be your favorite course in Utah.
Step5
Walk back centuries in time as you visit the Dinosaur Museum. Discover dinosaurs as you dig for fossils or build a water-stopping dam. Watch T.rexes brawl over lunch and enter an underwater world where you will see an elamosaur and a carcharadon, the biggest shark ever. Before leaving, take in a giant-sized movie in the Mammoth Screen Theatre.
Step6
Munch on some good food in one of Thanksgiving Point's five restaurants. From fancy fare to a relaxed cafe, there is something to please every appetite. Choose the Trellis Cafe and enjoy unbelievable views of the gardens while you eat. The Harvest Restaurant is a contemporary setting that serves a variety of food from homemade soups to grilled entrees.
Step7
Stop by one of Thanksgiving Point's gift shops before leaving. The main store is the Emporium. It is more than 13,000 square feet of pure shopping pleasure. Gifts are available that reflect your visit at Thanksgiving Point: furniture, jewelry, home accessories and more.
