How to Warp Text Using Adobe Photoshop

The following warp text instructions can be used in any version of Adobe Photoshop, but the specific menu names may differ, this article is geared to Adobe Photoshop 7.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

1. Open a new document within the photoshop program, making sure to choose black as your background color.
2. With document open, right click your text tool, and choose Horizontal Type Mask Tool.
3. Create a text box in the center of your document, by left click and drag to desired size.
4. Choose a font. Recommended font is Verdana Bold 72 point.
5. Type message in box.
6. Choose Paint Bucket Tool. Change color to White
7. Paint message white
8. Click Select Menu, choose - All
9. Click filter menu and choose Blur -> Radial Blur.
   Use the following Settings:
   Amount - 37
   Blur Method - Zoom
   Quality - Good
   Apply filter twice.
10. If you wish to add color, press ctrl+U. Tick colorize box and Modify Hue, Saturation, Lightness as desired
