How to Warp Text Using Adobe Photoshop

The following warp text instructions can be used in any version of Adobe Photoshop, but the specific menu names may differ, this article is geared to Adobe Photoshop 7.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Open a new document within the photoshop program, making sure to choose black as your background color.
Step2
With document open, right click your text tool, and choose Horizontal Type Mask Tool.
Step3
Create a text box in the center of your document, by left click and drag to desired size.
Step4
Choose a font. Recommended font is Verdana Bold 72 point.
Step5
Type message in box.
Step6
Choose Paint Bucket Tool. Change color to White
Step7
Paint message white
Step8
Click Select Menu, choose - All
Step9
Click filter menu and choose Blur -> Radial Blur.
Use the following Settings:
Amount - 37
Blur Method - Zoom
Quality - Good
Apply filter twice.
Step10
If you wish to add color, press ctrl+U. Tick colorize box and Modify Hue, Saturation, Lightness as desired
