This absolutely delicious snack mix is one of my favorites. People gobble it up - well, like puppies gobble puppy chow!

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • 12 oz. box Crispix cereal
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 12 oz. pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cups powdered sugar
Step1
In medium microwave-safe bowl, combine butter, peanut butter and chocolate chips and microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring once during cooking, until mixture is melted and smooth. Place the cereal in another large bowl and pour the melted mixture over the cereal.
Step2
Stir until the cereal is thoroughly coated.
Step3

on 6/24/2007 Your receipe came up in the pet section. That was the reason for the other comments. It sounds delicious. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I guess the "Puppy Chow" was the key to it showing up in 'PETS'

on 12/27/2007 Perhaps this was posted in the wrong area. If it is a "people snack" then I have no problems but if it was meant to be fed to the pet, then I would consider the advice of a Vet.

on 12/27/2007 I would consider consulting a Vet before using this. I am concerned about the chocolate especially. I know puppies can be hyper, but this may lead to trouble down the road.
