How to Find COG Tags 10 Through 12 in Gears of War

There are three COG Tags to find in Chapter 8: one at the beginning and two near the end. These ones will be tricky. There’s also an element of panic, seeing as how the Berserker will be chasing you for two of them. They are easy to miss, so stay calm, keep your head on straight and keep your eyes open.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging

1. Begin Chapter 8, China Shop.
2. Watch the video where Kim buys it along with the guy with the helmet (notice a trend about guys with helmets? Might as well give them red t-shirts).
3. Head over to the alcove where the guy got pulped. Ignore the fires, they won't hurt. You’ll find COG Tag #10 in the alcove.
4. Move through the tomb and get the Berserker to follow you as normal. When you see the third breakable door, look to the left as you’re facing the door. COG Tag #11 will be in an alcove under a window.
5. Take a hard left as soon as you make it outside.
6. Head through the square plant pots and look for COG Tag #12 in the bushes. It’s a bit hard to see, but time is short so be quick!
7. Be sure you grab COG Tag#12 BEFORE you waste the Berserker! If you miss it, you’ll have to restart the chapter to get it, since you don’t get a chance to grab any tags after you waste the Berserker.
