Rinse your mouth with warm salty water after every meal to prevent formation of bacteria.
-
Step 4
Brush your teeth and wash your mouth carefully, making sure that all food particles are washed out.

Step 5
Use a gentle disinfectant mouthwash after brushing your teeth.
-
Step 6
Take pain relievers such as aspirin, acetaminophen or ibuprofen, if necessary.
-
Step 7
Contact your dentist if the problem persists. A case of severe infection may require oral surgery.
