Many of us associate sneezing with colds, allergies or some kind of irritation in the sinuses or the nose. But have you ever wondered if we can make ourselves sneeze at any moment by tickling the "sneezing center" in our brainstem? Read the following steps to know how to make yourself sneeze.

Step1
Roll a tissue’s corner to a thin point. Insert the point into your nostril and rotate it. A tickling sensation will make you sneeze.
Step2
Inhale strong and pungent spices such as pepper for 10 to 15 seconds in a closed room. This may help you to sneeze.
Step3
Breathe in a strong peppermint odor. It will cause a strange sensation in your nose and make you sneeze. This will also bring tears to your eyes.
Step4
Look at the sun directly for few seconds. The rays will make you to blink your eyes and may subsequently cause sneezing.

Tips & Warnings

  • Remember that all the above steps may not be successful with every person. Each individual has a different level of sensitivity and will respond differently to various irritants.
