How to throw a Chopball in Baseball

The Chop Ball is an easy pitch to master,

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Good Strength
  • Accurecy
  • Someone watching you as you throw the Chop Ball
  1. Step 1

    First, Place your middle and pointer finger as if your going to form a four seam fast ball

  2. Step 2

    then, what you are going to do, is place your thumb over next to your pointer finger

  3. Step 3

    Then, place your ring finger aside of the ball to the right of your two seams.

  4. Step 4

    Last but not least, Place your Pinky UNDER the ball.

  5. Step 5

    Then throw it as you were going to throw a curveball ( do not change form of the Chop ball )

Tips & Warnings
  • The point of the Chop Ball is to trick the batter into thinking it is a fastball, then at the last second, the ball just CHOPS down.
  • This could cause injury to some fingers, use when atleast 14 or older years old.
  • And have a Trainer or Parent Watch you as you practice.
