If you have a mole on your skin that you'd like to remove, consider using a mole-removal product to get the job done. Finding out which product will be the most suitable to your skin using these guidelines.

  1. Step 1

    Consult with a dermatologist to find out what type of mole you have. Some moles are harmless while others are malignant and should be treated immediately.

  2. Step 2

    Ask the dermatologist if the mole needs to be removed surgically or whether you can treat it on your own.

  3. Step 3

    If you can treat it on your own, ask the dermatologist or to prescribe something to remove the mole. Ask what your options are and find out as much as you can about each product.

  4. Step 4

    Never use someone else's medicine, especially when it comes to skin care.

  5. Step 5

    Follow the instructions on your mole-removal product and keep your doctor informed of any changes in your skin.
