How to Begin the Big Push in StarCraft

Things are starting to get pretty dicey. You've started all-out war with the Confederacy and Arcturus' demands are growing increasingly brazen. This time, you've got to start from scratch and take a huge orbital platform from the Confederates. Get settled in, this one will take some time.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

1. Move the Norad II across the void to the next platform. Make sure it is clear, then begin landing your buildings. All your buildings except the Barracks can attach themselves to the add-ons already on the ground. The Barracks doesn't have an add-on, so just land it wherever you like.

2. Load the Marines and Ghosts into a Dropship, the SCVs into another. Land them once the buildings are down and the area is secure.

3. Set your SCVs on harvesting resources.

4. Find the ramp that leads down into your base and have the Norad II hold position in front of it. This will effectively block ground assaults into your base.

5. Build a Supply Depot as soon as possible so that you can begin constructing additional SCVs.

6. Construct five SCVs and set them to work building a Refinery and harvesting the vespene in the lower left corner of your base.

7. Start fortifying your defenses with missile towers and bunkers around the periphery of your base.
