How to Meet a Girl

Finding that special someone is hard enough. But what do you do if she doesn’t immediately return your affection? If you think you’ve found “the one,” there are certain things you can do to sweep a girl off her feet … and you don’t even need martial arts training.

Instructions

1. Let her know you exist. It’s hard to win her affection if she doesn’t know you're available. Make your presence known when you see her in public. Bump into her accidentally at the store, library or bar.

2. Look for something unique about her that you can mention. Girls have heard the lines a million times, so stay away from complimenting her eyes or smile. Instead, tell her how cute her freckles are, how nice her hair smells or how infectious her laugh is.

3. Play hard to get. When a man seems interested, but not too interested, it makes a girl wonder why. Offer her your number, email or even to meet, but don’t seem desperate. Let her know that if she says no, it won’t break your heart, even if it really does.

4. Get out while the getting’s good. Don’t give her a chance to reject you. When you give her your number, walk away without getting her rejection or approval. Let her think about it and wonder what you’re like.

5. Know when to walk away. There is a fine line between admirer and stalker. If the girl rejects you, it is better to leave her alone and move on.

Tips & Warnings

• Wait until the last minute. Even if things are going great when you meet, wait until you are about to leave before letting the girl know your intentions.
• Ask her friends about her. Learning what the girl likes and is interested in will help in conversations. Remember, though, when getting information, it needs to be casual.
• Don’t be fake. If you’re not an amateur skydiver, don’t make yourself out to be one. Even if she’s impressed, sooner or later she’s going to wonder where your chute is.

on 6/22/2007 I like these tips, since sometimes guys come on a little to strong. In the long run, a girl is going to go for the guy who is always there for her (within reason of course) and someone that she can talk to.
