How to Take a Bus to Rosarito Beach, Mexico

Baja, Mexico's Rosarito Beach has become a major tourist attraction for vactioning locals from southern California and Arizona. And because this Mexican beach village is only 20 miles south of the border, more and more people are opting for taking the shuttle bus service available at the border. Finding the service can be scary for the rookie traveler, but these tips will make the task a snap.

Instructions

1. Have a valid driver license and certified copy of your birth certificate or a valid passport for everyone crossing the border.

2. Park your car on the American side of the border at the Tijuana crossing. Look for the signs for the correct parking lots. Your car will be towed if parked in day parking and you decide to stay for a week.

3. Prepare to have your bags and person searched if the border patrol deems it necessary.

4. Have your declaration of all electronic and valuables items ready.
