How to Request College Transcripts

Once you exit university life, you might think you'll never need anything from "that place" ever again. Unfortunately, you're wrong. Chances are, your future employer will want to see who they're hiring, or you might surprise yourself and want to continue your education. So if you need those transcripts, don't worry, here's how you can get them.

• Personal information including your signature
• Processing fee

Instructions

1. Log onto your school's Web site to request your transcripts by mail, fax, phone or in person.

2. If ordering the transcript through their Web site, find the registration and records office or student resources section and have your username and password ready.

3. If you no longer have a username and password, you can call the registrar's office, go to the office, fax the office or request transcripts by mail.

4. Gather your personal identification information requested to obtain your transcript.

5. Fill in your information requested on the Web site or submit it by phone to the representative assisting you.
