Patios give protection from the elements no matter what season it may be. If it's chilly, you can light your butane heater and warm your area. In the summer, it'll shade you from the intense heat and sun. No matter the occasion you'll want to keep the patio clean and usable for every situation.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Collect any trash or debris that has accumulated on the patio.
Step2
Remove all objects and furniture that are able to be moved. Place them in an area where water does not drain from the patio.
Step3
Dust from the ceiling down. Be sure to get in the corners where bugs can hide. You don't want them at your next get together. Cloth dust rags attached to broom handles work great for area that are too high to reach by hand.
Step4
Sweep and gather all dirt and debris.
Step5
Pressure wash the remaining fine dust off the patio and onto your lawn. Start from the middle and work your way out to the sides. If you don't own a pressure washer, you can get your water hose and attach a sprayer head that shoots the water out in a stream.
Step6
Remove excess water with a push or regular broom.
Step7
Replace furniture when patio is dry, then relax and enjoy your clean patio.
