How to Raise Money for Summer Camp

Paying for summer camp can be a daunting task if you live on a tight budget. The process of raising extra money to enjoy a summer camp can be simplified by following these basic guidelines.

2. Look for fundraising opportunities. If traveling with a group, get everyone involved in a bake sale, garage sale or car wash. If attending by yourself, you could do a family or neighborhood garage sale.
3. Encourage family members to consider giving any birthday or Christmas gifts to you in advance by helping you pay for camp.
4. Talk to friends, family and neighbors to see if there are any services you could provide for a little camp cash. These could include raking leaves, mowing the lawn or babysitting.
