Step 1

Pick a day that you and your family can get away.
Step 2

Call ahead or check the zoo Web site for information on park hours and pricing as well as directions.
Step 3

Look for special offers on the Web site. You might be able to find coupons for admission.
Step 4

Once you arrive, get a map of the zoo to create a plan for your day.
Step 5

Decide on what to do if you become separated and inform the rest of your party.
Step 6

Enjoy your day at the Zoo!

Tips & Warnings

Avoid lines by coming early or late in the day.
If you visit during the summer months, plan to bring sunscreen, and take plenty of breaks for drinks and snacks.
There are snack bars located throughout the park. No outside food or drinks are allowed.
Remind children to not feed the animals or climb on any metal surfaces as they are very hot!
They accept all major credit cards, and cash, of course!
