      Buy tickets in advance for the ferry and for the Statue of Liberty by calling 1-866-Statue4 or visiting the Circle Line Ferry website (see link below in Resources). This will ensure your ability to go inside the statue with your prepaid Time Pass.

      Ride the ferry to the Statue of Liberty either via Battery Park in Manhattan or through Liberty State Park in Jersey City.

      Arrive early. You must go through security to ride the ferry and also to enter the statue itself.

Tips & Warnings

  • It is recommended that you take a taxi or public transportation to the ferry sites. They do not offer parking. However, there are limited private parking areas around the parks.

  • The Statue of Liberty is closed on Christmas Day (December 25).
