Tips & Warnings

  • Be prepared for the weather in the high altitudes of Colorado. Just because it is the middle of the summer does not mean it will be hot. It can get cold at night in the mountains.
  • See the other sights Telluride has to offer. The surrounding landscape and waterfalls are wonderful.
  • Tip your personal guide before the trip. The guides are extremely knowledgeable about the area and can make your trip much better.
  • Be careful! The tour guide companies all boast terrific safety records, but white water rafting can still be very dangerous.
