Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Place the stained piece of clothing on top of a clean, white towel.

  2. Step 2

Spray the ink stain with water and begin to blot out the ink stain.

  3. Step 3

Apply regular liquid detergent directly to the clothing and rub it in. Allow to sit for 5 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    Wash as you would normally.

  5. Step 5

Check clothing before putting into the dryer. If the stain remains, spray hair spray onto the clothing.

  6. Step 6

    Let stand for 5 minutes.

  7. Step 7

Apply liquid laundry detergent directly onto the fabric again.

  8. Step 8

    Wash as you normally would.

  9. Step 9

Check clothing before putting into the dryer. If ink stain is still visible, re-apply both hair stray and liquid detergent until stain is gone.

Tips & Warnings
  • Permanent ink might not wash out of anything, no matter how hard you try.
  • When using hair spray, do a test patch to make sure it does not affect the fabric.
  • If the clothing is white, try bleaching the stain out.
