Instructions

    • 1

Park your car at the Clipper terminal located at Pier 69. Try the Bell Street Garage or the Seattle Trade Center Garage.

    • 2

Buy a pre-purchased package, which allows children 11 and under to travel free. Pre-purchased packages are non-refundable, but you can purchase travel insurance for an additional cost. See the "Who Can Help" below for more details.

    • 3

Eat breakfast on board. Whether going to the Islands or Victoria, your trip will depart early. A continental breakfast basket is available for purchase. You can choose from cereal, yogurt or a danish. All come with additional food items.

    • 4

Sit back and relax. The trips to Victoria and the San Juan Islands take approximately three hours. Take this time to visit with your friends and family. This is also a great time for reviewing your site-seeing plans or even taking a snooze.

    • 5

Take advantage of the whale seeing tours when traveling to the San Juan Islands.

    • 6

Double check your departure time before disembarking. There is only one trip back per day.

    • 7

Enjoy your ride home. If you have not eaten, you will be able to choose from a tempting dinner variety on the Clipper, including salmon.

Tips & Warnings

  • Come prepared for all types of weather. An umbrella is always a good idea in the Northwest.

  • If you are not a U.S. born citizen, you will either need a passport, birth certificate or naturalization certificate, photo ID or a Green Card to enter Canada.
