on 4/16/2008 Ciao Bambino, www.ciaobambino.com, a free global guide to family-friendly vacation properties, is indispensable resource when you're planning a trip with kids. A big part of a successful family vacation is finding accommodations that make travel comfortable and stress free. Ciao Bambino makes this easy--you can choose a property based on your child's age range, take a look at the activities and the amenities offered, and browse different types of accommodations to find out which one is best for you and your kids.

on 6/5/2007 These are all good tips, but I'd also suggest investing in something like a portable DVD player if you're taking a road trip. You can get them for about $150 at places like Target and Best Buy now. They're worth the price.
