Folding fitted sheets is much easier when there are two sets of hands. Even without an extra helper, you can have nicely folded fitted sheets. Just follow these simple instructions.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Fitted sheet
  • Laundry basket
  1. Step 1

Remove the fitted sheet from the dryer and lay it on a bed or large table.

  2. Step 2

Fold the sheet in half so that the top corners are aligned with the bottom corners.

  3. Step 3

Slide the corners on the right side into each other. Do the same with the corners on the left side.

  4. Step 4

Fold the sheet again so that all four fitted sheet corners are on top of each other. Slide the right corners into the left corners.

  5. Step 5

Arrange the corners so they lie straight.

  6. Step 6

Fold the sheet in half again.

  7. Step 7

Fold the folded sheet into thirds.

  8. Step 8

Fold the folded sheet in half again.

Tips & Warnings
  • Fold sheets right after they come out of the dryer. The warm sheet will fold easier and be less wrinkled.
  • Place a basket under the dryer so the fitted sheet does not fall onto the floor.
  • Larger bedsheets will require more practice to perfect this technique.
