How to Remove Crayon Stains From Car Interiors
You would not be the first person to discover that your little Picasso managed to get crayon on your car seats while coloring in the car. If you have some crayon markings, following these steps to remove the stains.
Things You'll Need
- Car part lubricant such as WD-40
- Paper towels
- Soft cloth
- Liquid dishwashing detergent
- Sponge
- Stiff bristle brush
- Dull knife
- Warm water

Scrape off any excess crayon with the dull edge of a knife or your fingernail. Be careful not to create more of a mess.

Spray the affected area of the car interior with WD-40 or another car part lubricant.

Leave it on for 3 minutes.

Use a stiff bristle brush to scrub the stain.

Wipe the area with paper towels.

Respray the surface with the WD-40.

Apply liquid dishwashing soap and water to the area.

Continue to use the bristle brush and work the soap in a circular motion.

Wipe the stain with a damp sponge.
