Go to the official UFC Web site (see Resources below). It contains enough information about events and fighters to make you an expert on the sport.

Visit fan-built Web sites, of which there are hundreds to thousands. (The best known are listed under Who Can Help below.) These sites are informative, and many have forums where you can talk to other fans.

Ask around at work, or ask your friends. The UFC is popular, and chances are you will find someone who knows about it.

Go to a local MMA event. These events are spread throughout the United States and the rest of the world. You will find fighters and fans who will share their knowledge of the UFC and MMA.

Find a local MMA gym or club. These are spreading like wildfire across the globe. The fighters and trainers have tons of information on the UFC and its fighters.

Step 6
Watch SpikeTV, or buy a UFC pay-per-view event. You can learn a lot by watching the fighters and listening to the commentators.
