How to Open the Secret Level in StarCraft: Brood War

Want to find the secret Protoss mission hidden in the Zerg campaign? Getting to it is a challenge, for sure, but if you can pull it off, the secret level contains information that die-hard StarCraft fans will surely want. Sorry, no spoilers here, so if you are devoted to the Starcraft world and crave hints about StarCraft 2, you'll have to take on this mission.

Instructions

1. Play the Zerg campaign to level 9, The Reckoning.

2. See the timer? You've got to complete the mission before the time runs out. You've got 25 minutes.

3. Build 12 Guardians and as many Mutalisks as you can build quickly. Guardians are the quickest way to destroy the Protoss base and complete the mission. Mutalisks defend against air-to-air assaults on your Guardians.

4. Destroy the Protoss base!

For Cheaters Only

1. Press return to open the chat bar and activate cheats.

2. Enter "power overwhelming" to make your units and buildings invincible.

3. Type "operation cwal" to enable you to build structures and units in record time.

4. Try "show me the money" to give yourself 10,000 Minerals and Vespene gas.

Tips & Warnings

• Now you can build your Guardians and lay waste to the Protoss base in safety.
