Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Find the radius(a straight line extending from the center of a circle to its edge) of the circle.
Step2
Square the measurement of the radius.
Example: If the measurment of the radius was:
*9 ins.: 9x9=81
*5.5 cm.: 5.5x 5.5=30.25
Step3
Then multiply the answer of the squared number by Pi(3.14).
Example:
Radius: 9.: 9x9=81 81x3.14=254.34
Step4
Once you get that answer, put the measurement, (inches, meters, centimeters, etc.) and put the symbol for area (squared), which is 2.
