1
Find a piece of coaxial cable with a socket on it. You can find a cable like this at any electronics parts store, such as Radio Shack. The end should look like the piece that used to be attached to the TV.
-
2
Cut the cable. Leave a couple of inches to work with near the socket end.
-
-
3
Peel back the cable to expose the lead. Find the center pin in the cable.
-
4
Wrap the center pin from the cable onto the protruding pin on the TV.
-
5
Solder the pins together.
-
6
Tape over the soldered pins. Use electrical tape to cover the soldered pins.
-
7
Connect your antenna to the new socket.

Tips & Warnings
You can often find help from experienced TV technicians by posting on forums. Take pictures of your problem and provide a model name and visit some of the forums in the resources.
Replacing the entire antenna block is another solution, but may take the help of a trained technician.
If the antenna fitting is connected to the main board and is broken off, you may need to replace the whole board. This can cost more than buying a new unit.
