How to Pass the Guardian Angels Mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

This is a tough mission, no matter how you slice it. You have Diaz to protect, Lance Vance to keep in check, and lots of bad guys to waste in order to make it all happen. But, this is also a landmark mission: it opens up rifles for you, and you can do mission for Diaz. The risk is great and you'll probably need to try it more than once, but the payoff is worth it. Read on to learn how to pass the Guardian Angels mission in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Instructions

1. Head to the car park and grab the Ruger.

2. Get in Lance's car and head to the deal.

3. Move up to the balcony and get a good firing position. Ideally, you want to be at the edge of the railing so all of your shots will hit your targets and not the steel grate you're standing on.

4. Aim for the second two vehicles. Taking them out will blow up scores of enemies. Once they are gone, mop up the survivors.

5. Give chase! Two enemies are getting away with the goods. Grab the motorcycle one of them gets shot off of and stop them.

6. Be fast. If you don't recover the goods quickly, the mission fails and you must start over.

7. Persevere. It is highly probably that you will have to do this mission two to six times to get it right. Take a break if you need to, but keep at it. You'll get it eventually.

Tips & Warnings

• Grabbing a motorcycle allows you to shoot out the front with a submachine gun. This makes it way easier to take them down.

• Do not shoot the first car that shows up. Doing so will take out a big chunk of Diaz's health, if it doesn't kill him outright.
