How to Win the Race Against Hillary in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

In order to get your getaway driver for the bank heist, you must race him. Unfortunately, he's an excellent driver, has a faster car and isn't bothered when the cops show up to bust up your illegal race. Beating him is no mean feat, but there are a few possible ways around it. Read on to learn how to win the race against Hillary in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Instructions

Method One

1. Line the road with parked cars on his side. Some of them will disappear, but there's a chance some will remain behind. Hopefully this will give you enough of a head start to beat him.

Method Two

1. Grab an M-4 or some other assault rifle.

2. Practice with your rifle if you're a lousy shot.

3. Start the race.

4. Bail out immediately and attempt to shoot his tires out.

5. Get back in and pull ahead of him if you're successful.

Method Three

1. Grab the SPAS-12 shotgun.

2. Start the race.

3. Bail out immediately and pump as many rounds into his car as you can. He's really fast so you'll be lucky if you hit it at all.

4. Try not to destroy the car, but damage it enough so any careless driving on his part will cause an explosion.

Method Four

1. Stash a really nice, really fast car like the Cheetah next to the starting line.

2. Bail out and get in your new car once the race starts.

Method Five (The Easy/Cheater's Way)

1. Activate the floating cars cheat by pressing Right, R2, O, R1, L2, Down, L1 and R1. This will make it so that cars will begin to float the faster they're driving, and since Hillary's car is a lightning bolt, he'll be floating all over the place.

2. Drive moderately fast and carefully; fast enough to be competitive, but slow enough to stay on the ground.
