How to Rob a Store in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City
Although this is not exactly the sort of thing a "reformed" convict should be doing, robbery (at least in the game) is a viable way of getting some extra cash if you're short. Be aware that it is extremely risky and can be fatal if you are unwilling to cheat. If you think its worth the risk, read on!

- A store to rob. There are lots of these in the indoor mall.
- Cheat codes or the location of a Pay'n'Spray.
- A gun that can auto-target. Any pistol, SMG or shotgun will work.
- Fast etaway vehicle.

Get your things together, then go find yourself a store.

Park your vehicle directly outside the mall entrance if you're planning to rob stores indoors. If you don't take too long, it will still be outside when you get there. Just remember which entrance you came in.

Find your target store.

Find the checkout counter.

Jump up on the counter and face the clerk.

Aim and hold your gun at the clerk. After a few seconds, the clerk will put a stack of money on the counter. If you're close enough, you'll pick it up automatically.

Continue holding as long as you dare. The longer you hold the clerk up, the more money you'll get. The catch is that the longer you stay there with a gun drawn, the more Wanted stars you gather.

Run when the clerk stops shelling out cash. Get to your getaway vehicle or use the Wanted Level cheat (R1, R1, O, R2, Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down.)

Tips & Warnings
DO NOT attempt to hold up the gun store! The minute you try to run, the clerk will draw his magnum and shoot you in the back!
