How to Properly Apply Gel Blush

Similar to cream blush, gel blush is especially great for older women and women who have drier skin. It adds another layer of protection from the elements as well as another moisturizing compound to the face. It is also very easy to apply.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Make-up brush
  • Gel blush
  • Sponge
  1. Step 1

    Wash your face.

  2. Step 2

    Apply your foundation make-up.

  3. Step 3

    Put a small dot of gel blush on your cheekbone.

  4. Step 4

    Use a make-up brush or sponge to gently spread the gel blush upwards and outwards in a circular motion to the cheekbone area and apple of your cheek.

  5. Step 5

    Blend the gel blush into your hairline to avoid a tell-tale streak.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use a make-up brush or sponge to help you blend the gel blush into your foundation.
  • Always use small amounts of gel blush—it’s easier to add more than to try to take some off.
