How to Properly Apply Concealer to Age Spots

Many women strive to conceal their age spots when applying make-up. Properly applied concealer can diminish the appearance of age spots and give you a more youthful appearance.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Powder
  • Moisturizer
  • Foundation
  • Small make-up brush
  • Concealer
  • Yellow eyeshadow
  1. Step 1

    Moisturize your face.

  2. Step 2

    Put on your foundation make-up.

  3. Step 3

    Apply concealer to the age spot with your finger or a small brush.

  4. Step 4

    Rub the concealer in circles, blending the edges with the skin and foundation around the age spot.

  5. Step 5

    Put on a powder top-coat to help the concealer blend in and last longer.

Tips & Warnings
  • Choose a concealer color that is close to your skin tone.
  • Put foundation make-up on first to avoid rubbing the concealer off when applying foundation.
  • For dark age spots, mix a little yellow eyeshadow in with your concealer.
