How to Properly Apply Liquid Foundation Quickly

When you wear liquid foundation make-up, it's important to apply it properly. Foundation creates a smooth base for the rest of your make-up, but improperly applied it can look ghastly, giving your face a streaked or mask-like look. Here's how to apply foundation properly.

• Foundation
• Make-up sponge

1. Choose foundation that is close to your skin color.

2. Dot a bit of foundation on your cheeks, forehead and chin.

3. Use a clean make-up sponge or your clean finger and blend the dots into your skin, using outward motions.

4. Smooth the foundation over your nose and blend it in well.

5. Smooth some foundation over your eyelids and lips as a base for eye shadow and lipstick.

6. Add a little water to your fingers or sponge and blend in the foundation at your neck line, so there's no visible line where the foundation ends.

7. Blend your foundation all the way into your hair line.
