Things You'll Need
- Benzyl peroxide gel
- Thick cotton socks
- Drysol
- Black tea
- Breathable shoes
- Antiperspirant/deodorant spray
- Antibacterial soap

Wash your feet regularly with antibacterial soap.

Wear absorbent socks to absorb any perspiration that occurs.

Wear breathable shoes, such as sneakers and leather shoes.

Soak your feet in a solution of black tea each day. The tannic acid helps to reduce sweaty feet.

Reduce bacteria by applying a gel with 5% or 10% benzyl peroxide to your feet before putting socks on.

Use spray deodorant/antiperspirant on your feet before putting on your shoes and socks.

Take your shoes off when you are at home and let your feet breathe.

Contact your doctor and ask about a prescription for a product such as Drysol (aluminum chloride hexahydrate) to help eliminate foot sweat, if other methods aren't helping.

Tips & Warnings
Soaking your feet in black tea is a natural remedy for foot odor and sweaty feet. Steep 2 black tea bags in 1 cup of boiling water for 15 minutes. Add the tea to 2 quarts of cool water and soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes. Do this each day or every other day.
Always wear socks when wearing shoes, and change your socks often. Wear thick socks made of cotton, which will absorb sweat.
Foot odor is caused by perspiration and bacteria-take these out of the equation and you can drastically reduce foot odor.
Don't wear your shoes when you don't have to-allow your feet to breathe whenever you can.
