Instructions

    • 1

Wash your hands with warm soapy water.

    • 2

Using nail clippers or nail scissors, trim the hangnail off close as close to your finger as you can, ensuring that you do not pull or rip the hangnail.

    • 3

Moisturize your hands with a good hand moisturizer.

    • 4

Rub cuticle softener into your cuticles to prevent further hangnails.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep your hands and nails moisturized and trim your nails regularly to avoid hangnails. Pushing up your cuticles and keeping them soft and supple will also help prevent hang nails. Use cuticle softener before pushing up your cuticles.

  • Never cut or trim your cuticles.

  • Never pull or rip a hangnail-this will just cause the wound to become larger and more prone to infection.
