The crystal deodorant I got is mounted in a base (like a stick deodorant). It's easy to use and surprisingly effective. I wet it slightly and rub generously. There's no noticeable residue, nor have I seen any stains on my clothes. Contrary to these instructions, I don't rub slowly, rinse and dry the crystal afterwards, or store it in a cool place (it's in my medicine cabinet in the bathroom). I do, however, leave it uncovered to dry. My crystal seems to be holding up well, so hopefully it will last a long time. Both my husband (who is sensitive to most deodorants) and I are very pleased with the crystal deodorants and would recommend them to others. -
