Anyone who lives in a wintry climate knows how important it is to keep your feet warm in cold weather. Read on for a number of strategies you can use to ensure that your feet will be nice and warm the next time you plan a cold weather outing. These handy tips may even help to prevent frostbite, too.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Keep your feet dry. By protecting your feet from moisture, you will have a better chance at keeping them warm.
Step2
Wear breathable shoes when doing outdoor activities because they will dry out more quickly.
Step3
Allow your shoes or boots time to dry thoroughly before wearing them out in the cold again.
Step4
Wear socks that are made of fleece, wool, or similar types of fabric that will help keep your feet warmer than cotton socks.
Step5
Wear a snow gator around your lower legs to prevent snow from getting down inside your boot, which will result in wet feet.
Step6
Research the different types of boot insulation available, and purchase boots that will be effective in the type of cold weather in which you will be using them.
