No one likes morning meetings at work, but a fresh face will make sure that you look awake and alert. Learning to apply makeup for a morning meeting is not difficult, and your boss will appreciate the extra effort. Just try not to fall asleep during the meeting!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Foundation
  • Mascara
  • Blush
  • Brow pencil
  • Brushes and sponges
  • Lip gloss
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Eye shadow
  1. Step 1

Even out your skin tone using a foundation that matches your natural color. You may need to apply concealer to cover blemishes missed by the foundation.

  2. Step 2

Use a blush the color of your natural flushed color and apply it using a large brush and a sweeping motion on the apples of your cheeks. Using a brighter color will help you look fresh and awake, so don't be afraid of pinks, as long as you don't go overboard.

  3. Step 3

Apply bronzer to your face wherever the sun would naturally kiss it.

  4. Step 4

Brighten your eyes using a highlighting shadow on your brow bone and at the tear ducts.

  5. Step 5

Use a neutral shadow in a bright shade that complements your eyes without looking too much like evening wear.

  6. Step 6

Apply liner and mascara to define your eyes.

  7. Step 7

Use a sheer color on your lips that is one or two shades darker than your natural lip color.

  8. Step 8

Apply gloss to make your lips shine.

  9. Step 9

Carry your makeup bag to reapply makeup as necessary when the meeting is over.

Tips & Warnings
  • Smile! This will instantly help you to look awake.
  • Higher quality products may be more expensive, but they often provide better results.
  • Test all new products on a patch of your skin before using on your face to make sure they do not cause an allergic reaction.
