If you have to be awake all night, for whatever reason, it is always best to not wear any make-up. However, if you will be pulling your all-nighter with others, you may wish to look nice. Remember to keep things simple and to remove your makeup as soon as possible. Follow these steps.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lip color
  • Foundation
  • Blush
  • Waterproof Mascara
  • Brow pencil
  • Brushes and sponges
  • Concealer
  • Powder
  • Eye shadow
  1. Step 1

Even out your skin tone using a foundation that matches your natural color. You may need to apply concealer to cover blemishes missed by the foundation.

  2. Step 2

Use a blush the color of your natural flushed color and apply it using a large brush and a sweeping motion on the apples of your cheeks.

  3. Step 3

Use powder to set the makeup on your face, since it will have to last all night.

  4. Step 4

Skip most of the eye makeup if possible. Simply use a single color on your eyelids to complement the natural color of your eyes.

  5. Step 5

Apply waterproof mascara that will not smudge when worn all night.

  6. Step 6

Use a sheer color on your lips that is one or two shades darker than your natural lip color.

  7. Step 7

Apply gloss to make your lips shine.

Tips & Warnings
  • Carry your makeup bag to reapply makeup as necessary.
  • Higher quality products may be more expensive, but they often provide better results.
