How to Throw a Lego Party

Legos are amazing toys. They're fun and educational—and they can keep kids busy for hours. If you've got a Lego-loving child, check out some of these ideas for throwing a Lego-themed party.

Things You'll Need:

• Lego blocks
• Plates and napkins
• Camera
• Invitations

1. Create invitations with a Lego theme. Feel free to note that Lego gifts are appreciated.

2. Serve food on Lego-themed plates and use Lego-themed napkins.

3. Consider making waffles. They look like Lego blocks! You can even add food coloring to the batter.

4. Have a Lego hunt! Hide Legos around the house and have the kids look for them.

5. If you have an outdoor area, bury Lego blocks in a sandbox and have the kids find them.
   

6. Be sure to have plenty of Lego blocks for the kids to play with. After the party, send each child home with some of the blocks.

7. Have buckets available for easy clean-up and sorting of the blocks.

8. Set up a few different areas for kids to build. You can use a large table or the floor.

9. Hold a contest for the kids to see who can create the most impressive toy.

10. Make sure you have a camera handy to take pictures of their masterpieces!
