Legos are amazing toys. They're fun and educational—and they can keep kids busy for hours. If you've got a Lego-loving child, check out some of these ideas for throwing a Lego-themed party.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lego blocks
  • Plates and napkins
  • Camera
  • Invitations
  1. Step 1

Create invitations with a Lego theme. Feel free to note that Lego gifts are appreciated.

  2. Step 2

Serve food on Lego-themed plates and use Lego-themed napkins.

  3. Step 3

Consider making waffles. They look like Lego blocks! You can even add food coloring to the batter.

  4. Step 4

Have a Lego hunt! Hide Legos around the house and have the kids look for them.

  5. Step 5

If you have an outdoor area, bury Lego blocks in a sandbox and have the kids find them.

  6. Step 6

Be sure to have plenty of Lego blocks for the kids to play with. After the party, send each child home with some of the blocks.

  7. Step 7

Have buckets available for easy clean-up and sorting of the blocks.

  8. Step 8

Set up a few different areas for kids to build. You can use a large table or the floor.

  9. Step 9

Hold a contest for the kids to see who can create the most impressive toy.

  10. Step 10

Make sure you have a camera handy to take pictures of their masterpieces!
