Zero in on the details. Describe the clothing the suspect was wearing, including colors and styles.

Remember specific features. Tattoos and scars can help to identify criminals.

If you saw the suspect drive away, make note of the make, model and color of the car. If you were able to get a license plate number, include that in your report.
