Step1
Find a local group by visiting the Web site for the National Center for Victims of Crime (See Resources below).
Step2
Contact your local police station. They have experience with robbery victims and will be able to put you in touch with a support group in your area.
Step3
Start a support group of your own. Post a message online or put up simple flyers in coffee shops and grocery stores.
Step4
Contact a local church or clergy member. Low-cost counseling services are often provided by religious organizations.
Step5
Call the FBI Victim Assistance Services at (310) 996-3582. You may also call the United States Attorney's Office, Victim/Witness Assistance Program at (888) 228-0315.
